Quantum Bio-Active Zeolite 12kg
Info & How to Use:
Bio-Active Zeolite removes ammonia/ammonium, nitrite, nutrients, heavy metals and other
unwanted molecules from aquarium water. It can safely be used in all types of aquariums including
Freshwater, Planted, Ponds, FOWLR and Reef Aquariums. Bio-Active Zeolite™ is a 100% natural
product, originally designed to be used in ultra-pure water sanitisation meant for human
consumption meaning it is free from dangerous organics and harsh chemicals. Bio-Active Zeolite™
has a smaller, more consistent particle size which increases the surface area to water contact ratio
to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria. Bio-Active Zeolite™ is a much more homogenous
mixture which decreases stratification and improves performance. The smaller, more consistent size
is much easier to use in media reactors and can be easily added to high flow areas using our free,
non-metallic, zipper locked bag included in every pack.
This product can be used with our Bio-Active Carbon™ and Pelletised Activated Carbon for maximum
water purification, however, do not mix them together due to the differences in hardness. We do
recommend monitoring and supplementation (if needed) of parameters in order to maintain healthy
levels within the aquarium.
Lightly stocked = 30g/100L (26 US gal) per month
Moderately stocked = 50g/100L (26 US gal) per month
Heavily stocked = 70g/100L (26 US gal) per month
Rinse in RODI water before using, replace every month. Place in high water flow area, media reactor
or canister filter. Do not mix with other media.
CAUTION:
Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes or skin flush immediately with
running water for 5-15 min, if irritation persists seek medical advice. If swallowed seek
medical advice immediately, sip water if possible and do not induce vomiting unless told to
do so by the medical professional.
