- Other Notes: The Coral Catfish, with its bold stripes and eel-like body, is a fascinating and unusual addition often seen moving in tight, swirling schools as juveniles. While striking in appearance, they are not reef safe—adult Coral Catfish may disturb substrate, consume invertebrates and other smaller tankmates.
