• Other Notes: Recognizable by its long snout and bold yellow, the Longnose Butterflyfish is a peaceful and graceful swimmer that adds a touch of elegance to any marine tank. They can sometimes nip at certain coral polyps or feather dusters, so caution is advised in reef setups. They require a mature, stable tank with plenty of live rock to forage and may be finicky eaters at first feeding on small crustaceans, worms, and prepared foods with patience and persistence.
