      BioScrub Coral Dip Solution 100ml

Dual-action protection for your reef aquarium

Our scientifically formulated coral dip provides comprehensive protection against pests and pathogens. Developed in our Australian laboratory, this dual-action dip ensures clean corals enter your aquarium

      How It Works

Three powerful benefits in one solution

      Dislodges and Eliminates Pests

Uses targeted nerve and muscle disruption combined with osmotic shock to remove flatworms, nudibranchs, parasitic copepods, fire worms, crustaceans, and additional unwanted hitchhikers.

      Antimicrobial and Antiseptic

Suppresses surface bacteria, protozoa and spores to help with recovery

      One Step

All-in-one solution. No weighing ingredients. No mixing powders or using multiple separate solutions.

      When to use BioScrub?

      • On all new coral arrivals — before adding to your tank
      • After fragging corals — to reduce the risk of infections
      • During quarantine — regular dips help prevent pests and pathogens
      • If pests are detected — as part of a treatment plan alongside visual inspection and manual egg removal if needed

      How to Dip

      1. Prepare corals

Inspect corals and brush off loose detritus from skeleton or plug first

      2. Add BioScrub solution

20mL per 1 Liter of water and mix well. See dosing table below

      3. Bathe the corals

Immerse coral completely in a freshly diluted BioScrub dipping solution. Start timer. Gently baste all surfaces every 2 min to flush pests

      4. Dip duration

SPS and robust LPS, zoanthids, leathers 10 min. Sensitive LPS (Goni, Alveo) or mushrooms 5 min. See compatibility table below

      FAQs

      Is BioScrub safe for Acropora?

BioScrub was formulated specifically with Acropora in mind and is highly effective against Acropora-eating flatworms (AEFW). It is safe for Acropora species; polyp extension typically resumes within 30–60 minutes after dipping.

      Can I overdose?

Doses up to 40 mL of BioScrub per liter (double the regular dose) are still within the tolerated range for most hardy SPS and LPS corals. Always follow the recommended dose (20 mL per liter) and observe corals closely if using higher doses.

      Can I reuse the dip?

You can dip multiple corals in the same batch, but efficacy drops as pests, mucus, and organics accumulate. For best results, prepare a fresh dip solution each time you run a new batch of corals.

      Does BioScrub kill pest eggs?

No dip can reliably kill all pest eggs. BioScrub will dislodge and kill many adult pests and juveniles but eggs are often protected. We recommend a quarantine period with repeat dips to break pest life cycles and prevent reinfestation.
