Continuum Aquatics Basis Chaeto Grow 250ml

Nitrate & phosphate free multi-nutrient supplement for the growth of chaetomorpha

The Continuum advantage.
Basis Chaeto Grow is a high quality, bio-available, wide range, invertebrate safe multi-nutrient fertilizer for chaetomorpha and other macro algae. It contains all the nutrients that macro algae require to grow except phosphorus and nitrogen. Nitrogen or phosphorus may be required for very rapid plant growth in the heavily planted aquarium or in the case of very light fish load. If your aquarium requires nitrogen or phosphorus for accelerated chaeto growth, simply use our ULNS Nitro or ULNS Phos simultaneously with the Basis Chaeto Grow. Continuum products contain no dangerous polycycloglutaracetal or glutaraldehyde.

Use in aquarium keeping.
Simultaneous use of Bacter•Gen M or Bacter•Clean M to establish and sustain growth of proper microorganisms and recycle aquarium nutrients will greatly benefit all algae and the ecosystem in general. The use of Reef Micro Fuel or Reef Bio Pellet•Fuel will provide additional carbon for heavy chaeto growth. Growth of all photosynthetic organisms also requires strong lighting of proper spectrum. Consult your lighting supplier for assistance in the proper type of light, and photo periods for the algae that you are growing. Be sure to ask lots of questions to get the very best lighting system for your aquarium.

Directions and protocol.
Shake well prior to use. Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 20 US-gallons (76 L) of reef aquarium water twice per week. Dosage may be split up and added more often.

Expert use.
ULNS aquariums and heavily loaded aquariums may require higher dosages to achieve low phosphate and nitrate levels. Experienced aquarists may add 1 capful (5 ml) per 20 US-gallons (76 L) 3 or 4 times per week, depending on chaeto density and growth rate.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption. If ingested drink water, contact a poison control center. If in eyes flush with water.
