Seachem Axolotl Conditioner™ 250mL

A concentrated aquarium water conditioner designed to make tap water safe for axolotls. It removes chlorine and chloramine, detoxifies ammonia by converting it into a non-toxic form, and detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, facilitating their removal by the tank’s biofilter. Additionally, it detoxifies heavy metals found in tap water at typical concentration levels. The conditioner is non-acidic and does not impact pH levels.

Directions for Use:

• Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.
• Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 160 L of new water.
• For smaller volumes, each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.
• May be added directly to the aquarium, but it’s better to add to new water first.
• If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dose on the aquarium volume.
• A sulfur odor is normal.
• For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely.
• To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times the normal dose may be used.
