- Other Notes: Recognizable by its long snout and bold vertical orange bands, the Copperband Butterflyfish is a peaceful and graceful swimmer that adds a touch of elegance to any marine tank. While often introduced to help manage pest Aiptasia anemones, they can sometimes nip at certain coral polyps or feather dusters, so caution is advised in reef setups. They require a mature, stable tank with plenty of live rock to forage and may be finicky eaters at first—feeding on small crustaceans, worms, and prepared foods with patience and persistence.
